There's a place way down from here, With rocks and ice and more to fear, Many people go and not a single one has come back. I won't let you go alone, Down into the danger zone, Got sandwiches and a death wish in my backpack. I don’t know where we’re going if we’re going down there, You say there’s no way of knowing but I just don’t care. Too much danger down below, Fire and brimstone, sticks and stones, Don’t need no maps, it’s just vibes. I know a place to go, To set a brand new status quo, The only way to get by, Get high, stay high. Twisted knees and broken bones, 999 on answerphone, We should have never come and now we'll never be free. Cables drifting, lifting higher, Out of the persisting fire. Can somebody rescue me? Do you remember the time when we went off-track? It's not too late to rewind, not too late to turn back. Too much danger down below, Fire and brimstone, sticks and stones, Don’t need no maps, it’s just vibes. I know a place to go, With greener grass and fresher snow, The only way to survive, Get high, stay high. No maps, just vibes. Got to survive. Get high, stay high. Too much danger down below, Fire and brimstone, sticks and stones, Don’t need no maps, it’s just vibes. I know a place to go, To set a brand new status quo, The only way to get by, Get high, stay high. Too much danger down below, Fire and brimstone, sticks and stones, Don’t need no maps, it’s just vibes. (Get high, stay high) I know a place to go, With greener grass and fresher snow, The only way to survive, Get high, stay high.

Ivy 04:47
Cracks in the rafters So much for ever afters Cracks in the rafters of our home Weeds in the rafters So much for ever afters Ivy’s overgrown left me alone I guess I'm not the man you thought I was But I'll show what I can do Next time around I haven't been the person that I wanted to be And so I'll try again When I go back around Well it’s times like these I sit and stop and ask myself If I fell in the street Would you help me up, or would you walk on by? And in the mirror I only see my former self A boy who’s pure of heart A brand new start Spring in his step A sparkle in his eye And the ivy creeps through the cracks in the bricks in the house that I once called home And for once in my life I'm glad I'm moving on Cracks in the rafters So much for ever afters Cracks in the rafters of our home Weeds in the rafters So much for ever afters Ivy’s overgrown left me alone In a cemetery there lies a lonely grave plot No room for flowers here As the overgrowth outreaches to the sky As I trace the steps before our favourite meeting spot I start to realise That under this disguise The soul forgotten here is I And the ivy creeps through the cracks in the bricks in the house that I once called home And for once in my life I'm glad I'm moving on As they tied me down Wrapped the ivy around Gagged and bound so much for ever afters She’s overgrown, left me alone Cracks in the rafters So much for ever afters Cracks in the rafters of our home Weeds in the rafters So much for ever afters Ivy’s overgrown left me alone

Growing up fast in these dead-end streets I had the wind in my hair, same old shoes on my feet This town had nothing left for me I’d been running in circles, at the end of the line Running out of dreams and running out of time I had to make my final decree I don’t wanna just settle down and survive If we’re all gonna die (by the end of the night) then why Do I feel so alive? I've got my eyes fixed on the horizon Rails stretch below us out to the sea There's fires burning in our wake But only track in front of me I’ve nothing left to do or say I’ve made up my mind, and now there’s only one way I’m a runaway train This cat’s out the bag, and he’s back on the road He’s forgotten more than he'll ever know Got debts that he can’t repay Grabbing life with both hands and putting it on red Chasing that thrill until he winds up dead There's no need for delay I don’t wanna just settle down and survive If we’re gonna die then How come I feel so alive? How come I feel so alive? I've got my eyes fixed on the horizon Rails stretch below us out to the sea There's fires burning in our wake But only track in front of me My course is set My route is clear There’s nothing left for me Nothing left to fear I’m a runaway train I've got my eyes fixed on the horizon Rails stretch below us out to the sea There's fires burning in our wake But only track in front of me I’ve nothing left to do or say I’ve made up my mind, and now there’s only one way I’m a runaway train But now I’m growing old on a foreign shore Nothing left to do anymore but wait For that whistle to blow again A boy can wish and a boy can dream And shores aren’t as golden as they seemed to be To me Now the departure board is empty But I’m still waiting Waiting for something to arrive

You crack and writhe Mandibles swallow me And I’ll be Struggle to hold Fractured and cold Heavy the burden they bring me Tighten the rope Hands at my throat Cover my eyes that you’ll never see Tear me down Feel me crumble over starlit shores And I’ll never go, never go, never leave them to the dirt Break me out Pull me closer through the midnight cold But you’ll never know, never know, never know how hard I’d fall As I’m turning away from… …it all turns to air Grasping hands everywhere Spark into flame Taking aim Calls my name Brittle my heart Flesh torn apart Crimson my fingernails bleeding Choking my brain Frozen my veins Still is unbroken my soul unyielding Tear me down Feel me crumble over starlit shores And I’ll never tell, never tell, never betray those I love Break me out Pull me closer through the midnight cold But you’ll never know, never know, never know how hard I’d fall As Oblivion’s light takes us all Tear me down, feel me crumble And you’ll never know, never know, never know, never know Break me out Pull me closer through the midnight cold But you’ll never know, never know, never know how far I’d go When the winds are burning Flow as the waves are turning Slow til the light consumes us all

This time last week I was driving home on country roads, on my way back from my regular life-drawing classes, the ones I take every other Tuesday And thinking of you! And as the windscreen wipers ricocheted back and forth across my filthy viewport to a world of open roads and slightly less open windows of opportunity I’m still thinking of you! I’d tell you how I love you, but I know I’d tell it wrong So I’ll still borrowed words and cliched verse into your song. About half way home I pulled into a petrol station to fill up the tank, the one which sells pine-scented air fresheners for about 50% off, you know the one I’m thinking of you! And I was listening to the radio, and they had a segment where they asked, nay encouraged, the audience to ring up, and they would play whichever song you were thinking of But I was thinking of you! I’d tell you how I love you, but I know I’d tell it wrong So I’ll still borrowed words and cliched verse into your song. All these those words are for the most cliche song that I wrote for you while on the road I may not say the right words at the in right time but I'll make sure I sing my heart true Got home to my lonely one bedroom apartment, turned on the lights, and went through the corridor and up the stairs, and then straight to the kitchen to start dinner. I’m making a stew! And after I ate, I turned on the television, tuned in to watch the re-run of last week’s episode of the latest season of Masterchef On BBC2! I’d tell you how I love you, but I know I’d tell it wrong So I’ll still borrowed words and cliched verse into your song. All these those words are for the most cliche song that I wrote for you while on the road I may not say the right words at the in right time but I'll make sure I sing my heart true

Don’t waste your time Trying to change your life ‘Cause no matter what you choose We’re all just heading for Those midatlantic blues I know you had your plans Don’t you know I had plans too But we’re not in control Of this rollercoaster cruise We’re endlessly at sea With nothing good to do And nothing else for miles around Only midatlantic blues It's peaceful up on deck Watching unobstructed views Taking in the ocean air Wearing someone else's shoes But for just one moonlit moment I could swear that something moved In the distance, in the depths Of those midatlantic blues A sudden lurching feeling An announcement from the crew They say we’re going down And it’s gonna happen soon The ship’s already sinking And panic’s spreading through But the band still keep on playing The midatlantic blues Tomorrow we’ll be gone And soon forgotten too But perhaps for fifteen minutes They’ll see us on the news On a billion brilliant screens In such vivid lifelike hues Orange flames, scarlet blood, And those midatlantic blues

Wake up, it’s another day and I believe in you You’ve got my full support and I hope that you’ve got yours too Can you find a thing or two to ease you into the day You deserve a restful start to what may Be a self-loving day Feel today Find what works today Take a breath today Be yourself today Play today Spread some love today Take your time today Love yourself today Do not waste the morning on thoughts of feeling blue I'll let the morning paint your mind in a gentle pastel hue Fill up your lungs, take it slow Small steps into the sun That first rung on the ladder Mmm, the walk before the run Feel today Find what works today Take a breath today Be yourself today Play today Spread some love today Take your time today Love yourself today What will you do today? Are you excited? Or are you tired? That’s ok too The world is yours today Live in it kindly We’ll take in the sunrise Come stand beside me Feel today Find what works today Take a breath today Be yourself today Play today Spread some love today Take your time today Love yourself today When the day has ended I’ll show you how you grew We’ll weave these memories into song and then start the world anew Give me space to wonder and courage to explore How is it I feel younger than I did the day before Feel today Find what works today Take a breath today Be yourself today Play today Spread some love today Take your time today Love yourself today

I've never been a touchy-feely - Sang to crowd out my emotions. But sometimes I forget I'm human And something in me wants connection. I want a hug, it's true No, I don't love you (not that way) Don't need a hand to hold (nah-uh) Just a hug to say You're a friend today And that life is not so cold. I find it hard to show true colours - Prefer to blend in with the view. But sometimes I forget we're human And a patchwork's what we do. I want a hug, it's true No, I don't love you (not that way) Don't need a hand to hold (nah-uh) Just a hug to say You're a friend today And that life is not so cold. Sometimes it's a lonely world and People come and people go. Let's agree to stick around Find a friend in friends we've found.

The Bridge 01:15
Takin' this road With nowhere in mind Wondering if It's a bridge I will find It's been a lonesome road River crossings abound But never it was A bridge that I found A verse, a chorus A coda perchance But never a bridge To break my dance And then I met you Waltzin’ through the day and night And never a bridge in sight Together with you

Hunt the shadows Rob the pharaohs Kill the scarecrows No, we won’t outgrow Would be nice though It’s a freakshow Oh, I just want something to be said Not just in my head Oh, the comfort never ends But silence never mends. We’re not sorry Spook the sirens Lynch the Titans Don’t be frightened. It’s a new craze Ditch the past ways For our last days. Oh we just want time to walk alone Through the war zone. Oh, you will never take our throne This blood will come home. Music for the free Freedom for the weak Weakness for the fight Fire for crime We’re not sorry

Between Us 03:27
Do you think they noticed us arrive together? Our friends keep throwing glances our way, It seems like they’ve got something to say. If they ask what's going on, what might we tell them? Oh, that doesn’t matter right now No, that doesn’t matter right now I know we hadn’t planned that this would be a big deal But I think that it’s quite obvious the way that we both feel And I don’t know what happened but you’re touching my hand And I wanna get as close to you as I can Tonight yeah baby let’s just be us Tomorrow maybe they’ll make a fuss But tonight for now let’s just be us And I don’t care about who sees us Is this night inviting us to make it better? The music’s got you moving with me It seems like we’ve got somewhere to be Do you think they’ll notice if we leave together? Oh, that doesn’t matter right now No, that doesn’t matter right now I know they'll have a lot to say as soon as we're gone But I'm not sure we're even gonna stay for the next song 'Cause now you're leaning in and you just whispered my name And I'm taking your arm and we're on our way Tonight yeah baby let’s just be us Tomorrow maybe they’ll make a fuss But tonight for now let’s just be us And I don’t care about who sees us I know there's not a plan for where this evening could end And I’m pretty sure my parents still just think that your my friend But I don’t really care if they don’t quite understand I just wanna take you home as soon as I can Tonight yeah baby let’s just be us Tomorrow maybe they’ll make a fuss But tonight for now let’s just be us And I don’t care about who sees Tonight yeah baby let’s just be us Tomorrow maybe they’ll make a fuss But tonight for now let’s just be us And I don’t care about who sees us

Can I write a last-minute song? A moment and then we're gone. Nothing left to say, only games to play. A fool would I be to engage. Can I form a last-minute plea? Pictures that we couldn't see. Nothing left to live, only time to give. A fool would last longer than me. A word, a song, what a thing to say. No signs, no deeds, just a breath to take. A moment's fortune bringing you back to me. A laugh, a frown, what a strange surround. No fists, no fights, just a sighing sound. A moment's sunshine bringing you back to me. Can I find a last-minute plan? Take you on hand-in-hand Nothing left to think, only pride to sink. A fool would get out while they can. A word, a song, what a thing to say. No signs, no deeds, just a breath to take. A moment's fortune bringing you back to me. A laugh, a frown, what a strange surround. No fists, no fights, just a sighing sound. A moment's sunshine bringing you back to me. Say you'll get this soon, Forget the fiery doom, Find it or we're screwed... ...What a mood. A word, a song, what a thing to say. No signs, no deeds, just a breath to take. A moment's fortune bringing you back to me. A laugh, a frown, what a strange surround. No fists, no fights, just a dying sound. A moment's sunshine bringing you back to me. Can I write a last-minute song - One where my thoughts don't last long? Nothing left to choose, only sense to lose. A fool would have run... (wait, that's me)
